Please help,

I have tried to restore my dnn installtion to a new host as the old one went bust, luckily i had a backup of site and database which i did using the XPIDEA module.

I have made the following configurations:

• Followed all instructions in the PDF manual for the module to install to new host
• Migrated from a MSSQL 2000 to MSSQL Express 2005 database at the new host
• Shrunk the database and truncated the log file

After initial hitches the module seems to be fully functional and when i run the restore it says it does the restore and takes me to my website.... however.....

The only items that are restored are the old usernames and passwords and the content of one text module, which is restored to (and overwrites) the same new module which i created for the XPIDEA module.

It would seem that the BackUp Restore module can only restore to modules that are already created, i was hoping that the module would recreate the whole site - approx 100 pages from the previous full site and backup i created at the existing host.

Can anyone please help?

Perhaps i can examine the XML file, but i don't know what i would be looking at.
