Hi,

I have backed up my main web portal and wish to migrate it to a different virtual directory and new database instance.

I made a directory /secondary and copied the backed up files from my /main portal. I then altered the web.config to connect to the secondary database.

However, when I issue the URL http://newhost/MyVirtualFolder/DesktopModules/RemotePortalBackupRestore/RestoreDatabase.aspx

the restore fails. (see www.digitalshooters.co.uk/secondary/)

I have checked and re-checked the DB connection strings and all is fine.

Any ideas where I may be going wrong. I suspect the web.config may need tweaking as I turned autoUpgrade on once and I got a half built site in the database !!! I am running DNN 4.3.7
